King Edward Park was a hive of activity this morning with Newcastle’s Lord Mayor among those taking part in the launch of Step into Life’s National Open Week,
“It’s wonderful to see so many people out exercising and there’s lots of groups like this throughout Newcastle, utilising our parks and open spaces and council’s trying to make sure we have good public facilities so groups can utilise our parks and public spaces”
Nuatali Nelmes also happy to take part in a fitness balloon test.
