The Anna Bay Community Action Group says it will be seeking legal advice, following the approval of a controversial subdivision at Port Stephens.
The Joint Regional Planning Panel the 104-lot development at Fishermans Bay the green light late yesterday.
Urban Growth is behind the $5-million project.
The community group says it’s disappointed in the decision and doesn’t believe due process has taken place into the investigation of environmental issues.
It’s particularly concerned about the potential impacts on the local koala population.
