The Westpac Rescue Helicopter service will benefit from a new Coffs Coast fundraiser.
A ladies-only event for golfers and non golfers called, “Beauty on the Greens” will be held at Bonville Resort on March 26.
Proceeds go towards the $4 million needed to operate the chopper service each year.
“Every year, it’s called upon more and more, whether it’s attending emergencies or an accident or even transferring patients between hospitals,” said Zeke Huish from the Westpac Helicopter Rescue Service.
Those attending the “fun day” can play nine holes of golf and enjoy good food and champagne out on the course.
