WEATHER: A LITTLE INLAND RAIN IS ON THE WAY
The inland areas of the North West are still very dry and the major catchments are very low, so rain of any kind is welcome out west and there is some on the way.
Afternoon showers and storms are going to become a feature across the region in the coming days. That’s thanks to a stalled inland trough that is feeding off very consistent onshore winds, which have been creating partly cloudy skies and scattered showers along the coast over the next few days.
Rain totals won’t be big and there’ll be no impact on the major catchments, but it will help with current crops in the ground.
