FISHERMAN RESCUED AT FRAZER PARK
A fisherman has been rescued from Snapper Point at Frazer Park after being swept off rocks this afternoon.
The Japanese national was winched to safety by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter at around three o’clock.
He was suffering shock and hypothermia.
The 23-year-old is the third person to be rescued from the area this week.
On Wednesday, two men were pulled out of the water after jumping from rocks.
The rescues have prompted a safety warning from authorities, with huge swell lashing the coast this weekend.
