Southern Beaches have warmed up for the NHRU season by defending their Gunnedah 10s title.
Taking on Illawarra side Avondale in the final, the reigning champions made a slow start to trail 10-7 early in the second half.
But Beaches stormed home with three unanswered tries to secure a 12-point victory.
