Residents in Tamworth are being urged to donate some of their spare time to the new hospital campus.
As the $220-million acute services building nears completion, the hunt is now on for community members to man the information desk.
Volunteers will be on hand to help visitors and direct them to the areas they need to go.
The information desk will be open seven days a week and volunteers will be required to work one shift per month.
Anyone wishing to become a volunteer is urged to contact the hospital.
