TWO BANDIDOS CHARGED OVER ALLEGED ASSAULT AT BROTHEL
Two members of the Bandidos have been charged, after the owner of a Newcastle brothel was assaulted.
Police say the pair entered the Hunter Street business at about 6am yesterday, before threatening a 61-year-old man with a knife and assaulting him.
It’s alleged one of the men also threatened a staff member when she tried to call police and a patron who attempted to intervene.
The men, aged 25 and 28, have been charged with assault with intent to rob while armed with an offensive weapon.
They appeared in Newcastle Local Court today and have been remanded in custody.
The 25-year-old will reappear in May, while the older man is due before Toronto Local Court on April 21.
