Police are appealing for information following an attempted kidnapping at Urunga last night.
At around seven o’clock, a man attempted to lure a 10-year-old boy from a toilet block on Minerva Lane into his car.
The boy managed to escape and run to his parents.
“The man has tried to lure the child into a motor vehicle which we believe may be similar to a white Toyota Camry.” Insp Darren Jameson
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance and aged in his 30’s.
