Police are investigating the assault of a father and daughter in Charlestown.
The 41-year-old and his 13-year-old daughter were leaving Charlestown Square when they were approached by a group of men on Pearson Street.
The man was assaulted a number of times and had his keys, wallet and mobile phone stolen.
The teenage girl was also assaulted when she went to her dad’s aid.
The group ran from the scene after the police were called.
The father and daughter were treated for minor injuries.
Police want anyone with information to come forward.

if anything, I know the individuals are responsible for their actions BUT I would really like to know what the parents of the assailants think of what happened?
It appears to me that kids as young as 12 need MORE Discipline. Parents should be stepping in and recognising the signs of an out of control brat. There are more than enough avenues to get help for your children maybe they should give it a go.
