44 CHARGES LAID OVER ICE SUPPLY IN LISMORE AND CASINO
Police allege they’ve made a dent in the supply chain of the drug “ice” in the Northern Rivers.
Yesterday a woman was arrested in Tweed Heads, and charged with 44 offences.
“Police will allege that she was involved in the supply of Methalamphetamine into the Casino and Lismore areas and that she was supplying a drug syndicate, a local drug syndicate in those areas” said Detective Sergeant Bernadette Ingram.
It’s alleged the 35 year old supplied nearly 600 grams of ice, and seven firearms in the Lismore area over the past seven months.
She was denied bail in Tweed Heads local court yesterday, to reappear next month.
