WEATHER: ANOTHER EAST COAST LOW ON THE WAY

Another east coast low is expected to form this week. It will be a different monster to last week’s storm and could affect a larger area, extending across northern New South Wales and south east Queensland. It will then move south and onto the Mid North Coast and Hunter.
A large high currently sits over the nation, feeding a trough deepening over the eastern states with moist onshore winds. This trough is likely to spin into an east coast low later in the week, producing more strong winds and heavy seas.
While all east coast lows have similarities, they are also different so this will be another potentially dangerous storm and one to be monitored in the coming days.
