Tamworth could soon be home to a growers market, if a group of local producers has its way.
A partnership between Tamworth’s Community Garden and the anticipated Hopscotch Restaurant would see it based at Bicentennial Park.
Social media is behind the push to showcase what the north west has to offer.
“We’ve started up a Buy, Sell, Swap site on Facebook, which now has nearly 800 members.”
It’s hoped the market will start in October.
