WEATHER: EAST COAST LOW LATEST
The second east coast low is set to form in the coming days.
Moist onshore winds will feed a deepening trough sitting over the eastern states, so coastal showers will begin to ramp up from tomorrow.
The low will form Thursday into Friday, hitting the south east corner of Queensland first, before moving south across the Northern Rivers and onto the Mid North Coast during Saturday. The tail of the system is expected to hit the Hunter on Sunday before clearing Monday.
This low is a different monster to the one that hit the Hunter and Central Coast last week. This one will be on the move producing flooding rain, heavy down pours and huge dangerous seas and swell as it tracks south over a period of five days.
