EXTRA DRUGS CHARGES LAID AGAINST REBELS BIKIES

Police have laid extra charges against two members of the Rebels motorcycle gang, in relation to the alleged supply of methylamphetamine in northern New South Wales.

The 34-year-old president of the Rebels’ Ballina Chapter is facing additional charges of manufacture and supply a large commercial quantity of prohibited drugs.

A 47-year-old man has also been charged with manufacture commerical quantity of prohibited drug.

Both remain in custody and will face Lismore Local Court in July.

Strike Force Badim was established in 2014 to investigate the alleged supply of the drugs ‘speed’ and ‘ice’ in the Richmond local area command.

Officers have made 13 arrests so far.
