Following a stellar performance at this year’s Country Championships, two Central North rugby players have been named in the Cockatoos training squad.
Narrabri’s Matt Schwager made the cut, alongside Tamworth’s Jake Douglas.
The pair led the rep side to victory, claiming the Richardson Shield and qualifying for next year’s Caldwell Cup.
While four under 20’s players from Armidale have scored themselves a spot in the Colts squad.
