Lake Macquarie’s Nick Flanagan has returned to the scene of one of his greatest wins, as America’s second-tier golf tour moves to the BMW Charity Pro Am in South Carolina.
In 2012, Flanagan miss-hit his approach to 18, but it rebounded off a cameraman and onto the green.
The Australian sank his putt, then claimed the title in a playoff.
In the lead-up to this year’s event, good friend and fellow Hunter golfer James Nitties has recreated the famous shot, adding his own twist.
