A tough weekend for Aaren Russell in the V8 Development Series at Winton in Victoria.
The Novocastrian Motorsport driver struggled in qualifying, and race one.
He made steady progress in the second, before showing his true colours in race three.
Starting in 14th, Russell was quickly into the top 10 and pushing for places.
