WEATHER: A WILD RIDE FOR THE HUNTER

An upper level cold pool is making its way across New South Wales.

This will link up with the current north west moisture feed, but luckily we are at the tail end of that feed, so the wild weather will be short-lived.

The Hunter and Central Coast are going to see the winds pick up speed quickly, and a burst of heavy rain will rip through.

Seas and swell will rise fast and a gale wind warning has been issued.

The low will be pushed away from the coast just as fast as it arrives.

Conditions will settle on Saturday afternoon and coastal showers will return to the north coast.
