The outcomes of the Breimba: Looking For You research project will be launched on Tuesday at Grafton’s Regional Art Gallery.
The project sought to identify local aboriginal people who were photographed by John William Lindt in the late 19th century.
“It’s an amazing piece of history to bring back to those photographs and all throughout the leaders of the aboriginal community in the Clarence have been working for over 10-years to get this result.”
In all, three of the identities have been confirmed, while the project also shed light on other pieces of Clarence Valley history.
