A stretch of road outside Tamworth claimed a second life in six years this afternoon.
At around 2:30, a 55-year-old motorcyclist was travelling south on Nundle Road at Dungowan, when he crossed to the wrong side and collided with a four wheel drive.
Emergency services were called in, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident follows the 2009 death of Dungowan Cowboys rugby league player Steve Mamae on the same bend.
