They’ve only been competing together for five years, but the Hunter-based MCPD dance and cheer crew has already claimed several national titles.
In an effort to build on their success, athletes and officials are this week fine-tuning their routines, under the guidance of internationally-renowned American coach, Jasen Aldridge.
The MCPD athletes will test their skills at an event in Newcastle on June 20, but their biggest challenge will come in November at the nationals in Melbourne.
