A large cloud band stretches across the nation at the moment delivering widespread rain to Central Australia. Light patchy falls have started to come down across the Hunter and North West. This light rain will continue across the weekend as the band slowly creeps northward.
It will be a cloudy end to Autumn with welcome wet weather for the North West. A cold blast will rip through on Monday to kick-start Winter.
