Police are appealing for information over the armed robbery of a service station near Taree.
Just after two o’clock this morning, a man wielding a knife entered the Caltex on Manning River Drive.
He allegedly demanded cash and cigarettes from the 42-year-old employee, before escaping on foot.
The man’s described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged in his early to mid 20s and around 170-centimetres tall.
He was wearing a dark grey hoodie with a motif on the chest and black track pants with stripes down each leg.
