In a major coup for the North West region, Tamworth will host next year’s New South Wales City versus Country rugby league clash.
The representative game will be played at Scully Park, which has just had a $2.8-million upgrade.
“The North West has produced many fantastic footballers over the years and hopefully this match will inspire the next generation of young rugby league players to fulfil their sporting dreams,” said NSW Rugby League Chief Executive, David Trodden.
This year’s match at Wagga Wagga was sold out.
