POLICE TARGET RISKY DRIVER BEHAVIOUR

Police in the Hunter have begun a month-long operation targeting risky behaviour on our roads, in an attempt to reduce the number of deaths.
Chief in their sights – speeding, drink and drug-driving.
“This operation is in direct response to the number of fatalities on Hunter roads since April, we’ve had 10 fatalities in that period.”
Police say it’ll be a high-visibility operation – with officers spending an additional 1,000 hours on the roads.
