As the need for assistance continues to grow in the Armidale region, the St Vincent De Paul Society has created a new facility to keep up with demand.
A new distribution centre on Bundarra Street was officially opened today.
It will be the new location to sort, store and distribute donated items to 20 Vinnies stores across the New England North West region.
Largely run by volunteers, the centre will also give unemployed people a chance to increase their knowledge and skills, through a program run by Jobs Australia.
