The head of Central Coast Medicare Local, Richard Nankervis, has been named CEO of the new Primary Health Network.
The body, which will replace Hunter, New England and Central Coast Medicare Locals will come into effect on the first of July, covering an area right up to the Queensland border.
The organisation will streamline Medicare’s administration and commission health service providers in local communities.
