The grandstand at Maitland’s No. 1 Sportground is set to receive an upgrade early next year.
The project will include demolition of the existing grandstands and construction of a single 1,000 seat structure.
The facility will feature new change rooms, public amenities and a canteen for sporting and community events.
Completion of the project is due in mid 2017 .
