A man has been arrested over the alleged theft of guns while impersonating a police officer at Clarence Town.
In October last year, a Clarence Town property owner was approached by two men claiming to be police officers.
Two revolvers were stolen from the premises, and recovered at Mayfield East the following day.
A 32-year-old man was arrested yesterday and charged with a string of offences.
He remains in custody and will appear in court late July.
