Port Stephens Police say they’ve cracked a $1-million drug operation at Salt Ash.
At around 11:30 this morning, officers executed a search warrant at a Nelson Bay Road property.
They allegedly discovered a sophisticated hydroponic cannabis set-up, including around 500 plants.
A 35-year-old Salt Ash man is in police custody and is assisting officers with their inquiries.
The raid followed a tip-off from a member of the public.
