A group of six groms has paddled ten kilometres, all the way from Snapper Rocks to Palm Beach.
They’re campaigning to have southern Gold Coast Beaches turned into a World Surfing Reserve, that will prevent development.
But the group say Surf Reserve title won’t get in the way of activities on the beach.
They’re now lobbying Council to support their campaign before their application deadline in August.
