GRAFTON POLICE CONCERNED OVER DRUG INGREDIENTS
Drugs, weapons and cash have allegedly been seized by police after a vehicle stop in Arthur Street Grafton and a subsequent raid on a house at Southgate.
A man has been charged with possession of more than 200 ecstasy tablets, a replica gun, a knuckleduster and $4,000 in cash.
Police are concerned the drugs look unusual and could contain a toxic mix of ingredients.
“They’re a bright blue in colour and they’re quite grainy, that concerns us in relation to what is actively in those MDMA tablets and that’s a risk to the community at this stage,” said Detective Inspector Darren Jameson.
The 29-year-old charged after the drug seizure, has been refused bail.
