HENDRA VIRUS KILLS HORSE ON NSW NORTH COAST
An unvaccinated horse has died from the Hendra virus on the North Coast, in the first confirmed case in New South Wales this year.
The Murwillumbah property is now under quarentine, with three horses and two dogs being closely monitored for signs of the disease.
A number of people who had contact with the infected horse have also been assessed.
