There’s bad news for leading Hunter driver Lauren Panella, after a fall at Menangle almost two weeks ago.
Panella avoided serious injury, but a follow-up scan has revealed 10 fractures in her fingers, hand and wrist.
She’ll have another consultation next week to decide whether she needs surgery, but for now the 21-year-old is facing at least six to eight weeks out of the gig.
