Wauchope’s skaters will soon have more space to ride, with construction of a new skate park set to commence in August.
Stage one of the $120,000 project will include landscaping, a new footpath and seating.
Situated at Landrigan Park, it’ll be larger than the existing facility, and has been designed to expand in the future.
It’s expected to be complete by the September school holidays.
