In the Real NRL the Scorpions held on to beat Central this afternoon.
Macquarie opened the scoring as Teason Faavae-Eli set up Josh Schmiedel.
A few minutes later, Schmiedel exposed some soft Central defence to make it 10-nil.
When Macquarie scored again inside 12 minutes, the Butcher Boys looked in big trouble.
But the home side responded, as centre Josh Allison forced his way over.
Blake Gallen copped a high shot on his way to the line, sparking a bit of push and shove, as the Scorpions went further in front.
Central scored just before and after halftime to get back in it, but Macquarie held on to win by eight.
