ANGER OVER BAIL DECISION

Around 80 people gathered in Toukley this morning at the site where Central Coast man Greg Gibbins was allegedly stabbed in April this year.
The group was rallying against a decision by the New South Wales Supreme Court to grant conditional bail to Bradley James Brooks, the Halekulani man accused of killing the 28-year-old rugby league player.
Among them was Member for Wyong David Harris.
“It’s good news that the Department of Public Prosecutions is looking to launch an appeal and this morning is about supporting that call for appeal.”
A close friend of the Wyong Roos Hooker organised the demonstration which resulted in 120 signatures calling for a bail review.
1,500 mourners attended the 28-year-old’s funeral, some donning jerseys to honour his love of footy.
Brooks is due to face Wyong Court on August 5.
