WATER LEVELS RISING IN THE TAMWORTH REGION

Water restrictions are set to ease in Tamworth tomorrow, moving to level one.
With Chaffey Dam sitting at 57 per cent and Dungowan at 91, residents will now be able to use sprinklers and fixed hoses.
If Chaffey rises further, the city will drop to Permanent Water Restrictions, the lowest level.
The move means Council has re-enacted the current Drought Management Plan, with a revised policy currently under review.
