ANOTHER ELECTION PROMISE FROM BARNABY

While protestors were eager to capture the attention of Barnaby Joyce, his attention was elsewhere.

The Deputy PM and member for New England was busy making another funding promise, just days out from the election, pledging $10-million towards the Tenterfield Heavy Vehicle Bypass.

“We’re doing it. We’re delivering. We’re not just talkers. We’re not just a complaints desk. We’re not just fighting for things. We’re actually delivering them and that’s a big difference.”

He also commended the Coalition Government for pledging $12-million for the upgrade of Mt Lindesay Rd.
