WEATHER WITH GAV: CALM BEFORE THE NEXT STORM
All fine today and tomorrow, although it is still quite cold, especially overnight and during the early morning period. The afternoon sunshine is helping along with the North West air flow.
The next round of cold polar winds to move through will begin to take hold on Thursday with more winter storms likely as the cold air mass again collides with the milder air which is now building thanks to all the sunshine.
During Thursday the mercury will again begin to fall as the icy air mass marches north to the QLD border once again producing snow down to about 900m along the northern ranges.
The low is expected to create another burst of heavy down pours across the Central Coast and Hunter on Friday with conditions easing across the weekend.
