Former Newcastle Jet Jason Hoffman looks set to return to his old club, with the defender expected to be released by Melbourne City as early as tonight.
NBN News was given access to Hoffman’s medical at Newcastle University today.
If he’s passed fit, the 26-year-old is likely to sign with the Jets tomorrow.
Meanwhile, NBN News understands the Jets have expressed interest in bringing grand final winning striker Mark Bridge back to the club from Western Sydney… but it’s believed the Wanderers are unwilling to release the 29-year-old.
