A 38-year-old man has been charged, accused of glassing his 30-year-old partner at their home in Seahampton overnight.
Police allege the man hit the woman on the left side of her face with a glass, causing a severe laceration.
She was taken to John Hunter Hospital where she required surgery, after suffering severe blood loss.
