HSU CONCERNED ABOUT BED-BLOCK CRISIS
The state Health Services Union is claiming a bed-block crisis has hit Tamworth’s new hospital.
It says ambulance response times to emergency calls are being delayed because of the wait time to unload patients.
Overnight eight ambulances were stuck at the hospital, including units from Guyra, Gunnedah and Warialda.
The union is calling on the state government to address the problem.
