The count down is on to the ‘show your colours for the chopper’ fun run, and today some Westpac Rescue Helicopter employees celebrated the occasion by getting bright and colourful.
The five kilometre fun run is being held to celebrate the chopper’s 40th birthday and will go a long way in raising vital funds for the lifesaving service.
100 per cent of registration fees and all funds raised on the day will be donated directly to the New England North West branch of the service.
The Armidale event will be held on September 6, while Tamworth’s will take place on October 24.
