Police are appealing for information after the bashing of a teenager in Newcastle.
On Friday about 11:00pm, a 17-year-old boy reversed from a parking spot at Strezlecki Lookout in Newcastle.
Police were told the teenager struck a Toyota Hilux, causing minor damage to his own vehicle.
The male driver of the Hilux then struck the teenager several times through the open window.
The vehicle is described only as a white Toyota Hilux utility. The driver has been described to police as being of Caucasian appearance, 35-years-old, tall with a solid build.
At the time of the incident he was wearing an orange high visibility work-shirt.
