A 58-year-old Macksville man has died after he sustained critical injuries in a freakish accident in his home.
Police say the man was watching television with his family when he sat on a glass coffee table which collapsed.
The man was rushed to Coffs Harbour hospital with deep cuts to his lower body but died shortly after emergency surgery.
