$1.3M TEACHER HOUSING OPENED IN MOREE

Six brand new units for teachers new to Moree have been officially opened.
The fully furnished apartments have been built on Blueberry Road and Amaroo Drive, in a bid to attract new teachers to the area.
It’s been provided as temporary accommodation with a maximum stay of 12 months.
“It’s just a fantastic incentive when schools here are trying to attract new teachers, Moree obviously is a fairly long distance from other major centres and so having that accommodation is one less thing a new teacher has to worry about.”
The $1.3 million project is part of a $15 million state government investment throughout country New South Wales.
