NEW MEMBER FOR TAMWORTH’S CRIME PREVENTION COMMITEE
The head of Tamworth’s Aboriginal Community Committee has joined the city’s crime prevention group.
Harry Cutmore will ensure the indigenous community has a hand in developing initiatives aimed at reducing anti-social behaviour.
Mr Cutmore, who is also the head of the local Aboriginal Lands Council, joins 14 other representatives from council, the police force and other government agencies.
The Crime Prevention Committee oversees a number of initiatives including domestic violence programs and after hours activities for at-risk youths.
