SEVEN GUNS AND AMMUNITION STOLEN FROM MOREE HOME

Police are appealing for witnesses after guns and ammunition were stolen from a Moree home yesterday.

Police say someone broke into the Amaroo Drive property some time between 8am and 2pm.

Seven firearms were stolen from a gun safe, including several bolt-action shot guns and rounds of ammunition.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.

LIST OF STOLEN ITEMS:

– Stirling 22 bolt action with Crown scope,

– Lakefield 22 bolt action,

– Birmingham small arms 243 bolt action with Nikon scope,

– Ruger 22/250 bolt action with Nikon scope,

– Stoeger 410 shot gun (single shot),

– Stevens 223 bolt action with Savage scope,

– Winchester 30/30 lever action; and,

– Ammunition.
